It was another moment of grief for Environmental Health Profession in Nigeria as another veteran Environmental Health Officer,  Sir Samuel Nworwhor journeyed to eternity. A farewell service was observed in his honor today 9th April 2016 at the Auditorium of Rivers State College Of Health Science and Technology, Port Harcourt.

The deceased was a prominent Environmental Health Officer, Lecturer,  Statistician and former Director School of Environmental Health Technology, Rivers State College Of Health Science and Technology, Port Harcourt. 

In attendance at the farewell service include the College Provost Dr. Nnamdi Amadi, Deputy Provost Sir. Kingsley Okpara, Registrar of the College Mrs O. P. Lawson, Directors of schools, HOD's, Registrar of WAHEB, Reps of EHOAN and Environmental Health Officers and host of others.

The service which started at about 9.05am lasted for about 45 minutes and was proceeded by a motorcade to his home town at Igwuruta for final funeral rites and burial.
